David Dewhurst, Elizabeth Ames Jones, and Ricardo Sanchez all polled less than 1%. And Jones was scheduled to be at the forum&#8230;\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/images.nictusa.com\/pdf\/001\/11020380001\/11020380001.pdf#navpanes=0\">Leppert&#8217;s Q3 FEC report is up.<\/a>\n<li>Addison raised <a href=\"http:\/\/images.nictusa.com\/cgi-bin\/fecimg\/?_11020370659+0\">$35,059<\/a> for the Q3 fundraising quarter. This brings his total fundraising up to $60,486, and he has $35,557 on hand. While that amount will not cause Dewhurst or Cruz to lose sleep, it&#8217;s still impressive for a longshot candidate. It&#8217;s also more than a third what ostensibly &#8220;serious&#8221; candidate Ricardo Sanchez raised this quarter, and Addison did it without (as far as I can tell) a professional campaign staff or professional fundraisers. If someone with Addison&#8217;s intelligence and drive were competing in the Democratic primary, Sanchez would be in serious trouble&#8230;\n<li>David Dewhurst has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.texastribune.org\/texas-politics\/2012-elections\/campaign-roundup-political-news-week-1019\/\">reorganized his Senate campaign staff<\/a>. That&#8217;s seldom a sign of overwhelming confidence.\n<li>A minor <i>Ft. Worth Star-Telegram<\/i> piece on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.star-telegram.com\/2011\/10\/17\/3451770\/candidates-to-replace-hutchison.html\">the Cruz-Dewhurst battle<\/a>.\n<li>The <i>Wall Street Journal<\/i> does <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wsj.com\/marketbeat\/2011\/10\/18\/ex-wamu-board-member-dares-lightning-to-strike-him\/\">a piece on the Tom Leppert-occupy Wall Street story<\/a>, clarifying that Washington Mutual, upon whose board Leppert sat, didn&#8217;t receive a bailout, but that J.P. Morgan Chase, which absorbed WaMu assets at a deep discount after WaMu melted down, did.\n<li>Pettinger is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clearlaketeaparty.com\/resources\/blog\/166-updated-cltps-october-25th-rally-with-herman-cain\">appearing at a campaign event with Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain on October 25<\/a>.
