Global Warming: Data from the Greenland Ice Cores
I’m not an expert, but if the information presented here is accurate, it makes a pretty compelling case that the warming trend we experienced in the 20th century was quite normal within the overall geological time-frame.
Recessions are for the Little People
During the recession, government employees have had to make serious cutba–ha, ha, oh sorry, I could even keep a straight face while typing that. They’ve made out like bandits: “Federal employees making salaries of $100,000 or more jumped from 14% … Continue reading

Did liberals get their John Edwards mixed up?
According to Pew: “Conservatives and Republicans report fewer experiences than liberals or Democrats communicating with the dead, seeing ghosts and consulting fortunetellers or psychics.” Now, who was it that was part of the “Reality-Based Community” again?

Climategate Update for 12/13/09
The response of Global Warming proponents to just about any criticism of the consensus AGW narrative seems to “The science is already settled, and anyone denying that might as well be a Flat Earther, a Creationist, or a Holocaust denier. Now sit down, shut, and hand over all your money and power to us.” As long as they keep trying to pull this “Nothing to see here, now move along” crap about Climategate, more and more people are going to question what they say. Polls for Obama, ObamaCare, continue to plunge
61% now oppose ObamaCare. And according to Gallup, only 47% still support Obama himself. (Quinnipiac puts it at 46%.) And, to add insult to injury, 44% now say they’d prefer to have Bush 43 back as President rather than Obama. … Continue reading

North Koreans start to protest
This is huge news. The indispensable Claudia Rosett has details: “The plan has entailed issuing new banknotes, lopping off two zeroes, so 1,000 won becomes 10. People were given just one week to swap old money for new, after which … Continue reading
More Climategate Data Manipulation
Today’s example of CRU cherry=picking and flat-out changing data that didn’t show man-made global warming comes from Willis Eschenbach at Watts Up With That?. It turns out that what some climate scientists call “homogenizing” data, the rest of us would … Continue reading

Another Climategate Update
This story in the Telegraph shows what astonishing lengths the Climatic Research Unit in East Anglia went to in order to eliminate the Medieval Warm Period from climate records. In particular, Global Warming proponents have thrown out a vast host … Continue reading
