Yesterday I had to have Jigsaw, my 14-year old Golden Retriever, put to sleep due to cancer. There will be a blog post forthcoming on my other blog in a day or two. In the interim, instead of politics, here’s a video of Golden Retrievers playing.

The better the dog, the harder the loss. Four years ago I had my Minnie (lab cross) put down, at home, on the couch, with my arms around her. Last best thing I could do for her. Luckily, I had already had Plan B (another dog) who needed feeding, walking and love to keep me from bawling my eyes out for more than 3 days. When Plan B dog goes, I will be a complete wreck.
