Kyle StClaire is moving his lawn off his home in south Molalla. He says he's likes to keep his yard nice, especially now in case "the lord decides to take it." @OPB pic.twitter.com/gZ2QUfc2S0

Why is it happening?

… far more timber grows than is harvested or burned. To reduce the yearly fire threat, more timber must be harvested or burned in a controlled fashion. It's the math of photosynthesis. Trees grow. And in California's climate, they're often dry. 2/2

#BrownOut is the result of bad energy policies#HousingCrisis is the result of bad development policies

Rampant #wildfires are the result of bad forestry management policies#Homeless explosion is the result of bad human services policies#Dems did this by design#California

the latest from that vast laboratory for policy failure known as california where 30 years of bad "green" policy have now ensured massively increased fire danger and size.

this is not climate change, it's bad forestry policy.

and it is 99% preventable.https://t.co/QuWWF2ng5p
