Government in Action: Idiot Street Signs

I’ve been watching entirely too many Top Gear/Grand Tour videos on YouTube. This one struck me as just barely justifiable for posting here as an example of idiot government regulation at work: a look at idiot street signs.

    Texas “Guardrail Damage Ahead” sign. I was going to hit a guard rail, but not a damaged one. Like anyone cares. Why not just fix the guard rail instead of putting up a sign? Still can’t figure out their thought process, but it makes me smile.
