    1. KR says:

I think his multiple convictions related to his Sandy Hook lies place Alex Jones in a special category separate from the others you listed.

The only justification for restoring his account would be to enable him to go back to conning his gullible followers into giving him money so he could pay the Sandy Hook parents the billions he owes them. It would be appropriate for those that enabled his shit-spewing grift to share the economic burden of restitution for his crimes.

    2. Garrett Stasse says:

What KR said. Alex Jones did more damage to traditional American values that the John Birch Society, and that’s saying something.

    3. Lawrence Person says:

While Alex Jones is a loon, he does not, in fact, have multiple “convictions,” he has civil judgments against him. That the man has stupid opinions strikes me as a very poor reason to drive him from a communications platform, especially one predicated (as Musk-owned Twitter aspires to be) a bastion of free speech.

      TANSTAAFL6823 too.

      James Lindsay @ConceptualJames

    8. Charles says:

James Lindsay (@ConceptualJames). He’s done more than anyone to explain the historical/philosophical background of Woke — especially its Marxist roots. And they banned him for it. Encouraging all to go to his website, https://newdiscourses.com/

    9. mh says:

Thank you, Lawrence Person. KR is an idiot. As is Garrett Stasse

    10. Lawrence Person says:

Nah, Karl’s a sharp cookie. He’s just pissed at the harm Jones has done to the firearms community through his recklessness.

    11. Lawrence Person says:

      He posted an hour ago.

    12. Ray Sawhill says:

      Me! @raysawhill

My sin: I said of Merrick Garland, after some blatant bit of misbehavior on his part, “Tar and feather.” That got me permanently suspended, amazingly enough.

    13. George Cowan says:

      Jordan Peterson

    14. Lawrence Person says:

      Already sixth on the list.

    15. Lubert Das says:

      Please add:

      Milo Yiannopolis
      DJ Pop a Titty Out

    16. PapaBear says:

Nick Rekieta – RekietaLaw on Twitter. Conservative/Libertarian Lawyer w/nearly 500k YouTube subs.

    17. RL says:

A different type of suggestion / question:
Are you asking because you are able to bring these suspended accounts to Musk’s attention?

    18. Lawrence Person says:

I’m asking because I would like to bring these suspended accounts to Musk’s attention. I’m not sure that I can.

Though if anyone reading this communicates with Musk, feel free to forward him this link…

    19. Larry Mulcahy says:

      Me @HenryArmitage
My thoughtcrime was to tweet “Rachel Levine is a man”

    20. Howard says:

Who was the first major personality to be deplatformed for ideology? Was it milo yiannopoulos, or was it Sargon of Akkad?

    21. Leland says:

I’m not a Twitter user, so I don’t know who is or isn’t banned. Nearly all of the entire list I still follow via other media. However, I have to say this blog feels very small and crammed today, because pretty much everyone previously banned by Twitter should be unbanned. The possible exception would be 8 of the 9 Gay Patriot accounts*, because what should be banned are the bots and sock puppets that work as megaphones amplifying speech. If what you say is truly popular, then you won’t need a megaphone to get out your message assuming a medium that fully protects free speech.

      * This isn’t a knock against Gay Patriot, because he made new accounts as others were banned. He wasn’t trying to run multiple accounts to create a false echo chamber.
