Verifying the Hamas Baby Beheading

Among the most horrifying Hamas atrocities to come to light following their terrorist attack on Israel is the report that they beheaded babies.

Hamas terrorists slaughtered at least 40 babies and young children — decapitating some of them — at a kibbutz near the Gaza border, shaken Israeli officials and reporters at the scene said Tuesday.

“It’s hard to even explain exactly just the mass casualties that happened right here,” visibly distraught i24 News correspondent Nicole Zedek said during a broadcast from Kibbutz Kfar Aza near Sderot about a quarter-mile from the Gaza Strip.

“Babies with their heads cut off, that’s what [the soldiers] said. Gunned down. Families gunned down, completely gunned down in their beds,” Zedek said of the “sheer horror.

“This is nothing that anyone would have even imagined,” she said.

Top CNN reporter Nic Robertson, dressed in a military helmet and flak jacket, said, “There were so many murdered members of this Kibbutz.

“Men, women, children, hands bound, shot, executed, heads cut,” he said.

French journalist Margot Haddat added in a translated tweet, “It’s so macabre that no one wanted to reveal it until they had 100 percent confirmation.

“It is a horror, a massacre. For those asking for the source. They are multiple: Israeli army, internal intelligence service and atrocious images which reached me and which I was able to cross-check,” she said. “But the best source remains this: courageous journalists from the foreign press who were able to see / agreed to see with their own eyes the bodies in Kfar Aza.”

Here’s a tweet embedding that i24 report:

I think that a journalist interviewing a soldier who witnessed the aftermath of the slaughter counts as confirmation.

I wanted to verify this story not because I doubted the bloodthirsty murderers of Hamas were capable of such atrocities, but because it was just a little too on-the-nose. One should always question any narrative that fits a little too neatly into your preconceptions. And indeed, the story has undergone a subtle telephone game shift in the retelling, with it described as “Hamas beheaded 40 babies” instead of the still horrific “Hamas killed 40 young children and babies, some of whom were beheaded.”

Israel is fighting an enemy who believes it is righteous to decapitate babies as long as they’re Jewish babies, because all slaughter of Jews, any Jews, is permitted because they believe them quite literally to be “apes and pigs.”

That’s who Israel is fighting.

This is Arab “culture”, which informs much of Islam. They’re barbarians to the core, and despite the protestations, this is who they are.

Even the “Christian” Arabs kill and rape like madmen, especially their own kind. Ever hear of “honor killings”? They’ll kill their own kids, their own siblings because someone told them they saw a sister kissing a boy… The same asshole who’ll kill his own sister or daughter? They’ll be out there the week before and the week after, defiling someone else’s daughter or wife. That’s OK, see…

And, the majority of them seem to prefer little boys, anyway. Bacha bāzī, anyone?

Such manly men… It’s no wonder they think women’s hair gives off mind-control rays, and that they’d rather screw goats than a woman.

You spend a tour in Iraq, watching them rape donkeys and goats over the perimeter cameras, you’ll have a much lower opinion of the “Arab world”.

  2. Meatwood Flack says:

I thought the same thing too the moment I heard it. It’s also interesting that the information coming out of Egypt is that they did warn the Netanyahu administration that something was brewing, but that warning was ignored. Netanyahu did lie about that. Still, it helps if your intelligence agencies are focused on gathering Intel instead of playing politics. CIA/FBI could learn a thing or too.

Regardless, children are dead, hamas is responsible. Nuke Gaza from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

  3. Tig If Brue says:

White House is already walking back Biden’s comments about the “footage”. It’s bad enough, if it is a lie, there’s simply no need to. Just muddies the water.

  4. Boyd says:

“… not because I doubted the bloodthirsty murderers of Hamas were capable of such atrocities, ”

Indeed I have no doubt they are capable of just about anything but this one just has a certain feel of exaggeration bordering on phony propaganda about it. I recall a very similar story during the Iraq war about babies being killed in hospitals that later proved to be a total fabrication. Again, my gut says its true but I won’t be surprised to find out later it is not.

    Meatwood Flack said:

“It’s also interesting that the information coming out of Egypt is that they did warn the Netanyahu administration that something was brewing, but that warning was ignored. Netanyahu did lie about that.”

Um. Yeah. It’s fairly obvious that you’ve never, ever worked in what we laughingly term “Intelligence”.

One, you’d have to be of God-like omniscience to pick out the one thing in the sea of information you’re drowning in that’s the actual indicator; I don’t doubt but that Egypt did warn Israel, but how many times has the information Egypt provided actually panned out? How much outright erroneous information was sent through those same channels? How was it phrased; what was the accompanying evidence?

There’s absolutely nothing useful to be done with “Hey, we think something’s going to happen this weekend…” You get those “warnings” so often that they blend into the background, and I seriously doubt that they’d have made it into Netanyahu’s morning briefings at all, unless they were accompanied by credible evidence including dates, times, names, and all the rest. If you reacted to every piece of chatter in the intelligence world, you’d never get a moment’s rest, and you’d likely be just as surprised when something actually did happen in accordance with the “warnings”.

So, you can say that Egypt “warned” Israel, but… That really doesn’t mean shit. I could “warn” you about “something bad is going to happen to you in the next month…”, but what the hell are you going to do about it, when I don’t tell you exactly what it is? You going to go through your life for the next thirty days, paranoid and afraid, waiting for that ball to drop? That’s what you’re actually expecting them to have done with that “intelligence”.

Absent the details, we really can’t determine shit from this fairy tale about Egypt. For all we know from what’s been said so far, it could have been a single sentence in a memo saying “Yeah, it looks like Hamas is planning something, but we don’t know what…”, and if they didn’t include the details and specifics, what the hell do you expect the Israeli intelligence people to do with that? Hamas is always “planning something”, so how do you know when it isn’t the usual minor stuff from times like this?

Intelligence is only perfect in hindsight. While you’re trying to do it, in real time? LOL… Try it sometime; hell, tell me what your wife is gonna do on the 23rd of next month, from “the indicators and warnings”. I’d wager you good money you’ve no idea, because you’re not God.

So, don’t expect God-like perfection from the poor bastards doing this stuff. They can’t possibly achieve it, and going after them for getting it wrong is counterproductive as hell.

  6. John Oh says:

Egypt intelligence may well have provided a warning, and it may have been substantive. That doesn’t mean it worked it’s way up to leadership. Israel has been embroiled in a dispute about the powers of the legislature and supreme court, to the point where Mossad may be busier trying to get rid of Netanyahu than what it’s supposed to be doing. Can’t happen here though could it?

  7. FM says:

It’s interesting that an event which lines up precisely with what the alleged perps said over and over again that they would do in english language media, let alone what they said continuously in arabic media, has generated such skeptical pushback in the west, even when multiple primary western media sources are reporting that they saw this first hand exactly as described.

Maybe the domestic western media has been so steeped in narrative management now for so long that they can no longer actually accommodate reality, preventing any acceptance of any fact which counters their preconceived stories-about-Israel template no matter how solidly reported.

  8. Andy Marksyst says:

    @FM

Yes, “domestic western media has been so steeped in narrative management now for so long” they can no longer see reality. Also the nonstop 24/7 lying. Then some.

  9. Jorg X McKie says:

At this point all that matters is that the tide has gone out and we now can see clearly who supports what.
It shouldn’t be a difficult choice.
But it’s not just anti-semitism at this point, it’s Jew-hatred. You either support the slaughter of those total innocents just because they’re Jews or you don’t pick one. And abstaining indelibly marks you on the side of Jew-hating butchers.
It’s your choice, of course, but you might want to take a gander at your soul before choosing stupidly.

Oh. BTW, the proof of baby slaughter by burning and beheading has now been shown. There’s no hiding behind “a lack of evidence.”

  10. Patricia says:

I agree, caution with all info.

I believed it mainly because I saw Hamas video of the terrorists attempting to hack a dead Israel’s head off with a hoe.

  11. CardanoCrusader says:

    Democrats funded Hamas terrorists.
American Jews vote and fund overwhelmingly Democrat.

American Jews voted to kill Israeli Jews.
Will this incident cause America’s Jews to stop supporting Democrats?

    No.

So… if America’s Jews do not actually care, why are they trying to make the rest of us care?

  12. dubious says:

I’m old enough to remember when the Press reported and we all believed that the Iraqis were killing Kuwaiti Preemies by stealing incubators.

The fact that the story changed ought to tell you something.

Without pictures I remain unconvinced. I have no doubt Hamas is capable, but I do not 100% believe it.

The Hun were bayoneting Belgian babies 100 years ago too… still not true.

  13. LKB says:

    Gaza delenda est.

Israel need to go full Carthage 146 BC on the entire strip, albeit without enslaving the survivors. (Sending them to Iran — or to the tender mercies of the PLA in the West Bank — will be sufficient.)

  14. West Palm says:

“Trust the MSM reporters, guys” -many posters who critique the “lying MSM” elsewhere who should know better.

As of October 12 the sole source all reportage on this traces back to is an Orthodox major better known for his settler organizing and genocidal sentiments against Arabs.

Is it plausible radical Muslims from a open-air concentration camp would run wild? Absolutely. In that case evidence should be easy to come by. Hamas and the IDF both have media outlets. Ukraine vs Russia is overflowing with data. So I’ll wait and see.

  15. tolkein says:

re the Huns bayonetting Belgian babies 100 years ago. post WW1 critics were sceptical of the atrocity stories. But it turned out that they were largely true. The stories from Israel were so horrific I doubted they were made up. Nobody could imagine the terrorists would be so warped.

  16. CardanoCrusader says:

Both CNN and NBC are saying the Israeli government refuses to confirm babies were beheaded.

Looks like you’re pushing a piece of crap propaganda.
    WHY?

Muslims are apes and pigs, they are absolutely CAPABLE of doing this, but if we don’t have confirmation of it, why impute it? They’ve done enough other evil things, we don’t need to make crap up.

Unless you WANT to make up crap.
But WHY make up crap about Muslims beheading babies?
That’s something abortionists do every day, and nobody cares.
Jews are fine with abortion, so what’s the point in this false narrative?

  17. Lewin W. Wickes says:

We know Gaza shares a border with Egypt. Guess what. Egypt won’t open its border. What’s that tell you? If there were an open road from Gaza to the West Bank, I have no doubt the Palestinian Authority (PA) would close it. They don’t want Gazans in the West Bank. What’s that tell you? The fact is that Palestinian leaders don’t want a state of their own any more than Al Sharpton wants a color blind society. The PA is in the race pimping business. If they ever got what they say they want, the scam would be over, and they would no longer have the protection of the IDF. They would be dead in no time, swept away by the savage lunacy of the Arab “culture.”

  18. DaveK says:

My own thoughts on what Israel should do:

    1. Tell everyone in Gaza to leave, with a (say) 48 hour deadline;
    2. Proceed to reduce all of Gaza to rubble (except, perhaps for historically/culturally significant archeological sites);
    3. Make the rubble bounce; and
    4. Salt the earth (literally), the entirety of Gaza.

  19. JaimeRoberto says:

According to Wikipedia that kibbutz had a population of 765 people. 40 babies seemed like a very high number for that population, so I was skeptical of the details. 40 babies and kids is much more believable. Given the fog of war it’s easy to see how details get lost or changed even with the best attempts to be accurate. Still barbaric whatever the case may be.

  20. TMA says:

Palestinian terrorists *have* beheaded babies before, for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Itamar_attack

  21. Lawrence Person says:

Compared to the rest of the world, Israel has a tremendously high birth rate of 2.89.

    ————————————
Cardano Crusader, Who exactly in the Israeli government is refusing to confirm babies were beheaded? Does NBC or CNN name this alleged Israeli official? I ask because ABC News has confirmed the truth of the accounts with their own reporters. https://hotair.com/headlines/2023/10/1

  23. Casual Observer says:

Yes I heard about the gay thing 50 years ago. I worked with a family of Lebanese Christian guys and they confirmed that a lot of Arabs go gay because the Muslims are so harsh about premarital sex.

I have seen night vision video of Arab guys fucking goats. It’s a real thing.

  24. Malthus says:

Nothing excludes the likelihood that babies in their cribs were murdered by Hamas. Jewish captives were beheaded by Mohamed himself. Decapitation has a laudatory 1,400 year tradition in Islam. Just because the practice is abhorrent to Jewish and Christian sentiments does not mean it is not embraced by Islamicists.

  25. Lewin W. Wickes says:

DaveK says the Gazans should be told to leave. The thing is nobody will take them. They’re a toxic population. Israel is stuck with trying to contain them as you would a rabid dog in a kennel.

  26. Dave Huff says:

There isn’t enough room to outline everything here, but the foundation of extremist reasoning rests upon a model of the world in which you are either a believer or an infidel.

Formal Islamic theology, unlike Christian theology, does not allow for the separation of state and religion: they are considered to be one and the same.

For centuries, the reasoning of Islamic jurists has set down rules of interaction between Dar ul-Islam (the Land of Islam) and Dar ul-Kufr (the Land of Unbelief) to cover almost every matter of trade, peace and war.

But what radicals and extremists do is to take this two steps further. Their first step has been to argue that, since there is no pure Islamic state, the whole world must be Dar ul-Kufr (The Land of Unbelief).

Step two: since Islam must declare war on unbelief, they have declared war upon the whole world.

Along with many of my former peers, I was taught by Pakistani and British radical preachers that this reclassification of the globe as a Land of War (Dar ul-Harb) allows any Muslim to destroy the sanctity of the five rights that every human is granted under Islam: life, wealth, land, mind and belief.

In Dar ul-Harb, anything goes, including the treachery and cowardice of attacking civilians.

You are evidently possessed by the Will to Fiction. It is ever such for those who refuse to embrace the overwhelming evidence of Islamicist depravity.
