The Juice Is Loose From Life

Football player, actor and accused murderer O.J. Simpson dead at age 76 from cancer.

I think everything that needs to be said about the O.J. trial has been said, so I’m just using this as an opportunity to put up videos of Norm Macdonald on Saturday Night Live (which, I assure you, was actually funny at various points in its history) slamming O.J.:

Damn I miss Norm so freaking much. His famously satirical deadpan had no equal.

I was the only one among my business associates who believed O.J. Simpson killed his wife. Conversely, a large number of them were fervent in their belief that Cleveland Browns’ owner Art Modell deserved to die for moving the franchise to Baltimore.

When you are a sports legend, the public gives you the Roman gladiator’s “thumbs up”.

Almost as good as the numbers he used to run on DC Mayor Marion Barry.

As much as I hate to admit it, though, OJ was featured in one of the best skits SNL ever ran when he once hosted the show.

OJ (playing himself), was watching a football game with a couple of buddies when the announcer indicated that Walter Payton was closing in on OJ’s single-game rushing records. His buddies needled him about that, but OJ took it in stride: “Come on guys, Walter’s a good friend. I don’t want to lose the record, but I can’t think of anyone better to beat me.”

He then excused himself to go to the kitchen to get a beer, looked both ways then pulled out a Walter Payton bobblehead doll and started sticking pins in it. When he returned from the kitchen, it seemed that Walter Payton had sustained an injury that took him out of the game.

I can’t find the skit on youtube. Gee I wonder why.

RIP Walter Payton, a great American and a great player. Rot in hell, OJ.

OJ Simpson was a litmus test: If you thought he did it, based on the evidence…? You’re a rational person.

If you thought he was innocent, based on… No idea, really, but if you just believed really hard that he was innocent, ‘cos “Black”, well… I’ve got limited sympathy for you or your beliefs.

His prosecution was a milestone for the dissolution of America. Blacks felt that he should get off, because “black”, despite the fact that he was far more privileged than the average American, period. I should have been so lucky as to have his athletic talent and opportunities, which he squandered.

Just like most blacks do. What OJ did with his gifts, I fear, is a preview into what black Americans will do with any largess showered upon them by “reparations”. Most of that money will be in the hands of rim dealers in short order, ‘cos that’s what they do with their resources: Buy bling.

  5. Kirk says:

Huh. Who’d have guessed that a violent murderer might have had form for that…?

If this is true, which I suspect it is, then USC has some vulnerability to lawsuit. Or, so I would presume…

Always suspected that the Kardashians were creeps.
