Chicago Declares War On Lawful Gun Owners

The Deep Blue City Democratic Party War on lawful gun ownership continues apace. In Chicago lawful gun owners face felony charges despite having legal carry licenses.

  • Lewis McWilliams was pulled over in Chicago for a missing front plate. He had a gun in the car, and was carrying a valid Firearms License (FOID) and a valid Concealed Carry License (CCL).
  • But he didn’t come up in the database.
  • So Chicago police arrest McWilliams, despite the state law enforcement guidelines stating they should not take any action in this situation.
  • Not only did the officer arresting him make a mistake, but prosecutor Alex Preber approved charging him for unlawful gun possession.
  • Instead of admitting they made a mistake a dropping the charges, they held him for 24 hours and he had to sue for over three months to get the charges dismissed.
  • And he’s not the only one! CBS Chicago found “a handful of lawsuits accusing police of violating the rights of legal gun owners.”
  • Lucy Washington was arrested for having an expired CCL, despite her having renewed it.
  • Both McWilliams and Washington are black, and CBS heavily pursues that angle. I guess we’re supposed to believe that a city with radical leftwing black Democratic Mayor Brandon Johnson, running a one party Democratic city who hasn’t had a Republican mayor since 1931, in a state run by Democratic Governor J.B. Pritzker since 2019, is institutionally racist against black people. Maybe. But judging from their rhetoric and actions, Chicago and Illinois Democrats seem institutionally hostile to lawful gun owners of all races.

Also: McWilliams and Washington are still waiting to get their lawfully purchased firearms back from the Chicago Police Department…

Being institutionally racist against black people is very on-brand for the Democratic Party. I have no trouble at all believing it.

Reason #27,534 to declare war on Chicago, but we never do. I guess we’ll have to wait for reason #27,535.

The Democrats pursue gun control with a vengeance because the entire party has be “chickified”, as Rush Limbaugh used to say. Democrats no longer think of black (or any other nonwhite race) males as favored. They are to be dominated and controlled with the same enthusiasm as the control of white males. Hence Chicago’s war on legitimate gun owners.

This transformation is driving males of all ages and races out of the Democratic Party, which makes the women of the party even more strident in their anti male beliefs and practices. Eventually the Democratic Party collapses under the weight of its absurd prejudices.

Helen Andrews has penned a short and concise article in Compact Magazine discussing the ramifications of feminization throughout our society which is giving a lot of attention to this subject right now:

“I just feel like the right I been given –the constitutional right you have–the police officers didn’t stand up for”.–Lewis McWilliams

The police have no responsibility to recognize and enforce your legal rights. All too often,, they regard your constitutional right to life, iberty and property as an impediment to good public order.

To be sure, a magistrate may hand down a legal ruling which orders police to retrieve your property, release you from custody or spare you from execution but the cops are looking for opportunities to arrest, detain and jail you.

They are usually respectful of your domicile but you are vulnerable when it comes time to drive to a restaurant or your place of business. I was recently stopped by the police because my vehicle matched the description of one that had been reported for “drunk driving”.

I became unduly alarmed when two cruisers rapidly vectored onto my position, causing me to neglect operation of my turn signal when I changed lanes. This gave them the opportunity to stop me for questioning. Once they had me arrested, they tried to find *sonething* (anything!) that would indicate I had committed a crime.

Except for the improper lane change, I had done nothing wrong. However, my daughter was with me and how was I to know if she had a gram of cocaine in her purse?? As a parent, I would have instructed her to discard it had I known, but the police would be interested in preserving it as evidence of a crime.

There are few good outcomes that result from a police encounter. Avoid them as best you can and never give them any reason to question you. They are not here to champion your constitutional rights and will ignore them in the interest of “public order”.
