It seems that people who thought they were Democrats are finally waking up to the fact that the party has left them.

I’m surprised that anyone was fooled by the use of the term “democrat socialist” by these people and what it meant. I have been writing and talking since 2020 that the Democrat Party is becoming the Whig Party of the 1850s and everybody laughed. Go back and look at your history.
The Whigs adopted contrary positions and ate themselves alive. The 1852 presidential election was the equivalent of our 2024 election; the 1854 midterms are going to be the equivalent of this year’s midterms. By 1856, the Whig Party was no longer a nationally viable party because it was unelectable. That is our 2028 election.

Best bet is the U.S. Left shatters and in twenty years a non-insane political party rises from the ashes. Safe bet is chaos, hopefully avoiding kinetics and free nocturnal helicopter rides. But no matter what, there is no arrow.
Mainstream Democrats are socialists. Democratic Socialsts are communists.
There are no moderates left in the Democratic party. None. The best evidence of this fact was the referendum in Virgina to disenfranchise Republican voters by gerrymandering the state using districts that could only be described as grotesque.
This refendum was approved by overwhelming margins of Virgina voters. These were not politicians acting in their role as parisan players in a two-party system. These were everyday, ordinary citizens–your neighbors, parents at your school, church members, and co-workers–who believe sincerely that you do not deserve political representation in Virgnia because you are Republican.
This is an insanely radical position that cannot be justified within the context of the American political tradition. Republicans need to internalize the new reality of American politics–the people who portray themselves as “moderate” Democrats in your midst believe that you do not deserve political representation in our two-party system.
These people hate you and they want you dead. There can be no negotiating or good faith agreement with people like this.

In this, Democrats somewhat resemble Muslims. The Jihadi will be inclined to kill you and the moderate Muslim will say nothing in your defense. Communists will exhibit the same inclination to spill your blood and Democrats will not rise to sternly rebuke them but may instead timidly demure.

This strongly suggests that it may be some day soon that it becomes suicidal to honor the authority of Democrats.

Communist are autistic in a bizarre way. Marx said that human, the masses, thoughts are products of their material conditions. Change the conditions (“ownership of the means of production!”) and people will change the way they think and behave.
Not true, but it’s still a core tenet in Marxism, so when they say “Words constitute reality” they in all sincerity believe that if they just state something, express something loudly and often, it makes it so because the condition have changed by saying it.
But Marxist are not complete idiots. The term “bourgeoisie” was changed to “whiteness” or “white supremacy” for them to not sound hopelessly fossilized. Still stupid.

The pollsters were all off by an order of magnitude, so their prognostications for November will be entirely suspect.
The commies also knocked off Michigan Congressman Shri Thanadar for being too pale a shade of red. Full fledged communist Donovan McKinney will win the heavily gerrymandered CD-13 easily in November.
